How to use pen drives safely

Pen drives are useful in data traveling. While it is important and useful there are number of viruses automatically transferred from one computer to another. There are several Trojans, Spyware & Malware attacking computers. Most of them activated when you double click on pen drive. You can prevent your computer from virus attacks by following method when opening pen drives.

Insert pen drive and cancel auto run dialog box (If you continue with auto run dialog box some viruses may activate)

Open My Computer and click on 'Folders' button in the tool bar (Do not double click on pen drive to view it's files)

Then you will see an item list tree will be open in left pane of the window. Click on your pen drive to view it's files.

This way you can minimize the effects can be happen from viruses even your virus guard do not remove virus or you don't have a virus guard.
